Outside of my work in research and higher education, I am active in community arts and dance education. Please enjoy this page featuring my dance work!

My dance training has been across Ballet, Modern, Contemporary, Jazz, Improvisation and Creative Movement. I first began my dance training under the direction of Maricar Drilon in my hometown of Vancouver, WA and went on to spend my summers in high school studying at internationally renowned programs including Alonzo Kings Lines Ballet, Boston Ballet, Atlanta Ballet, the San Francisco Conservatory, and at Bates Dance Festival during college. I have taught dance to absolute beginners through pre-professional and professional dancers, from ages two to ninety two. I believe that dancing is for everyone and that it is never too late to start!
